Empirical design methods for scour protection against vessel actions
We develop design methods based on empirical data from extensive scale model testing for a range of propeller vessels, including single propeller, twin propeller and multiple azimuth propellers.
We assess our results in combination with industry experts and CFD modelling, drawing conclusions that we publish at industry conferences. Our results have been incorporated into industry design guidance.
